Overlooking the Cumberland River and beautiful open farmland, King’s Bluff is Nashville’s classic local crag: less than an hour from downtown, stacked with accessible routes, and well-maintained by the Southeastern Climbers Coalition. The limestone faces are a rarity in the Southeast sandstone belt and provides a unique and engaging challenge for beginning and advanced climbers alike. King’s Bluff is an excellent location for those with children or who are new to climbing, offering numerous shorter and low-angle climbs (5.4 and above), but our guides can also find you that techy 5.13 project. Come out for a pleasant day in the woods, lots of climbing, and exceptional instruction.
