Who are you, and why are you in Nashville?
I am in Nashville because I grew up here (Mt Juliet) and love it!
What sparked your interest in fitness or yoga?
My interest in fitness and yoga really all started at a young age from gymnastics! I loved the conditioning part and how it made me feel stronger! From there I’ve done some dance, lots of weight training and yoga!
Since then how has fitness or yoga changed your life?
I still love all fitness and how it makes you stronger and more confident and know that you’re able to do hard things! Yoga has really changed my life over the past couple of years because of how beautifully it combines growth of mind, body and spirit! I love how it fully incorporates all parts of myself and my life!
And what about personal training keeps you coming back?
I love personal training because I love to help people make their life what they want it to be! I love seeing clients grow stronger, reach goals and I also enjoy getting to know different clients from all walks of life!
Do you have a favorite workout/pose/flow?
I love lunges! All types of lunges from a weight lifting workout to a yoga crescent lunge twist! I also just love flowing through sun As! Crow and side crow are two of my favorite yoga poses because they challenge me and I remember learning to do them and getting past thinking that I couldn’t!
What's rad about your life right now, in or outside the gym?
My life is really fun right now because I have a two year old daughter that makes everything better! She’s so fun and funny and I love spending time with her and my husband!
