We are hosting a handstand workshop October 13th, and we want you to come play with us!
We’ll be approaching this workshop from a fitness + yoga perspective digging in to both of our areas of expertise to give you one killer workshop. We’ll start and finish our practice with yoga. Jenn will warm us up with a flow on our mats. Then Katie will take us through some calisthenics training- using mobility techniques, activating the core, warming up wrist and shoulders, and talking handstand alignment. There will be time to play around and work with a partner. We’ll finish our practice with stretching and sweet savasana.
This workshop is for anyone interested in playing on their hands. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned hand balancer, there is always something new to be learned. Come to play. Come to learn some new tips and tricks. Come to strengthen your hand balancing practice.
Our goal is to take the ego out of handstand. It takes time and practice to teach your hands to act as your feet. We’d love to be a part of your journey to handstand.
